Sitting here... wondering Thinking of good times... Still frame images of my life I hold the knife... I will not kill... Standing my ground.. Wherever, Wherever that may be.. Still I can't help but wonder.. "Where are you?" Some say things happen for a reason Well maybe they do... maybe I can too... "Where are you?" "Where are you?"

about

This record was more personal therapy then anything else. As it was the result of hard, hard times. I was recently homeless, had lost my job, my car was stolen, & my previous house had burglarized multiple times to the point there was nothing left of value either monetarily or personal. Even, love letters & sketchbooks were taken. Whatever, it was nothing I could take with when I died, so fuck it. They didn't take my acoustic however. They may have taken everything else, but they didn't take that damned guitar. This single was recorded on a $75 old broken computer I managed to hustle from the local pawn shop & was recorded at my friends Zane's house & Steve's apt in late 2005 while I was sleeping on the floor there some nights. "Where are you?" is the only real song on here as I feel should be - after all this is a SINGLE. The other two are more fillers, but serve purposes of their own. They are audio representations of various mixed emotions I had bouncing around at the time. Neither of which were really sound, much like these other tracks. "afternoon high" was a poke at people taking their recordings so serious they are incapable of releasing even one composition properly combined with the torrent of negative & unattractive emotions that came with traversing the troubled waters of life at that time, and as such sounds like pure crap, but nonetheless, crap with a purpose. That purpose being "hey look I made & a shit song, released it, & didn't die, the sky didn't fall!"
